Manilla Healthcare Services aims to:
- Reduce emissions by 40% by 2030 (to ~63 tCO2e).
- Achieve net zero by 2050.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 75 tCO2e by 2029, a reduction of 29% against the baseline.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed initiatives since baseline year:
- Transition from petrol/diesel pool cars to hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs).
- Installation of LED lighting and smart controls in offices.
- Remote working model introduced to reduce commuting.
- Implementation of recycling and waste reduction programme across all sites.
- Migration of IT systems to UK-based, energy-efficient cloud hosting.
Future initiatives:
- Phased replacement of all remaining fleet vehicles with EVs by 2030.
- Installation of renewable energy (solar PV) at head office by 2026.
- Ongoing staff training and incentives for sustainable commuting (e.g., cycle-to-work scheme, car sharing).

Declaration and Sign-Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol and UK Government conversion factors.
This plan has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of Manilla Healthcare Services.
